Using Sapphire To Control Dirt & Grime on a Tennis Court

Moss is a common problem for tennis court owners and grounds maintenance managers. A tennis court that is well used will need constant maintenance to ensure it’s safe for players. It causes a dangerous slip hazard for tennis players and often results in injury on neglected tennis courts.

Top Tip: A 5 Litre bottle of Sapphire will cover a standard sized tennis court (500m²)

Remove Debris

Before you treat the surface of your tennis court you need remove any debris covering the court such as leaves, water, litter etc. You will need some key tools and equipment to help you maintain the court and keep it free of debris such as a stiff brush, leaf blower (if required), spade, bin bags and a sprayer or watering can. 

Top Tip: Mix Sapphire at a ratio of 250ml to 500ml per 10L of water.

Apply Sapphire

Once the court is clear of debris then its free to apply Sapphire to remove the grime, algae lichen etc. This will then give it a preventative layer to help reduce the buildup in the future.
